Mandy Gordon is an accredited intimacy coordinator/director and movement director and choreographer, with a passion for creating authentic, powerful, and expressive physical storytelling. Drawing from her background as an actor, Mandy takes a thoughtful, actor-focused approach to her work ensuring that movement and intimacy supports and enhances the emotional truth. As an IC, Mandy is dedicated to creating safe, respectful and empowered spaces for cast and crew.
Her portfolio includes work for stage, film, music video, opera, animation, and immersive work. Whether large scale choreography or nuanced and sensitive intimate character driven movement, she brings creativity and professionalism to every project.
Notable credits include: London International Festival of Animation teasers; English National Opera in collaboration with Central St Martins; Beyond the Deepening Shadows at the Tower of London and Barber of Seville at Neville Holt directed by Deborah Shaw and Anna Morrissey; Threepenny Opera, directed by Walter Mejierjohann; Dirty Cash (music video) and Make Me a King (BFI Flare) directed by Sofia Olins; Boudica directed by Jon Pashley; The Cherry Orchard directed by Janet Suzman; Our Town directed by Sarah Francom and A Streetcar Named Desire, directed by Sean Linnen. She collaborates with both established directors and emerging talent to bring compelling choreography and movement to life.
